This English country estate, built in the 1930 s, houses our reception area and restaurant. Twelve elegant rooms with private baths were added in 1984 to create the inn. Each room is individually decorated in fine traditional furnishings. Our guest parlor - the conservatory, has a fireplace, grand piano, cocktail bar, coffee bar, outdoor whirlpool, and exercise equipment. Guests may enjoy 33 acres of woods, trails, and gardens. Personal service and security are attractive to women travelers. Our restaurant, The Ferns, is open to the public for Friday/Saturday evening dining. Chef Cheryl Flynn specializes in creative menus and light clean flavors using seasonal fruits and vegetables. There is also an executive meeting facility on site.
